Eastbourne Airshow

I knew we had to go to the Eastbourne Airshow when I saw it advertised in a magazine, put out through the schools, showing all the local activities.
I was giddy and had a big ole smile on my face the entire show!

The highlight was seeing the Royal Air Force, Red Arrows.

In addition to the airshow, each branch of the British Armed Forces was there sharing all kinds of information.

We started with some war paint.

Got a feel for the weapons.

Checked out a jeep and it's instruments.

Saw a jet close up.

We took the kids on a virtual ride in a jet.  They loved that!  If you ever get a chance to go, I highly recommend it!  So much of the activities were free of charge!

It was very informative to us as expats, learning about the British Armed Forces.

It was awesome and I hope to make this an annual event!!

Have you been to an airshow?  I've always wanted to see the Blue Angels!
