St. Andrews With Family

I never realized that Scotland would remind me so much of my home state of Alaska, including the fields of fireweed!!

I thought I'd post a bit more about St. Andrews since I learned that my email readers weren't able to view the pictures from the previous post. There is definitely more of Saint Andrews to see beyond my Instagram photos.
Jerry got an Olympus camera a few months ago.  Between that and our Canon, we got a ton a photos from our different perspectives.  I got some good shots, but he is definitely the more talented one!  So I'll start by saying that I can't take credit for all the photos.
My nephew, Eric, his wife Bethany and their 3 month old cutie, Grace are currently living/studying in St. Andrews.  It was fun to hang out with them!
Going out with 3 kids and a baby means you have to be flexible!  I think we had a good mix of resting at their place and getting to do and see several things.

 Around town.

My beach-combin' family!

Isn't that sand gorgeous?!

The Old Course was preparing for the Women's Open.

Eric and Bethany offered to keep the kids for us to have a date night!  Woohoo!!  Thanks guys!!

 Saint Andrews University

It gave such a quaint feel to see these painters!

The Museum of Saint Andrews University has several activities for the kids.

Saint Andrews castle ruins in the background.

 Old city wall

The ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral.

The fishing village of Crail.

Give us a big wave guys!!

See the lobsters by the little window at the top of this house?!

We stopped at this amazing little church between St. Andrews & Crail.

That's not even half of our photos, but I'll spare you!!  Let me just leave you with Hamish, St. Andrews town cat.
Where's Hamish?
