Visitors

One of the things I love about living overseas are the people we meet.  We've had a lot of guests over the years in all of our locations and we just love it!

This last week we had a visit from a couple that went to church with Jerry's family.  We had met and talked to Lauren a few times on our visits to the US over the years (when she was in highschool!), and on one visit during their college days we met her hubby, Matt.

They decided to save up and take a vision trip across Europe to see where God might be leading them next.

We were happy to have them land at our place for a few days in Vienna.

My girls took an instant liking love to Lauren!

Our little church start is very close to the Rathaus.

On our way to dinner we were showing them the city and it started raining, hard!  We ducked into Starbucks, along with a ton of other people!  We huddled under and outdoor umbrella to wait it out.  Luckily it didn't last too long!

You see these costumes all over the city.  They are advertising for local operas, symphonies, etc.

We headed to Vapianos.  They fell in love with it, as we do.  They even went back the next night!  Ha!

I absolutely adore this picture, how Reegan is reaching over to Matt.  So sweet!

Waiting for their pizza!

We finished off the evening with some Austrian gelato at Zanoni Eis.

Matt & Lauren were sweet to give us a night out.
We headed downtown for some Mexican food & coffee and a little stroll!

On the streets of Vienna

Karis had a little accident while we were out.  She chipped her 2 front teeth while looking down at her sister from the top bunk.  She ran her mouth right into the bar on her bed.  Ouch!

We were able to get her into the dentist the next morning.  These were her permanent teeth, but they fixed her right up.

It goes without saying that my kids were lovin' on these 2!  We miss them already!

  2. Sweet pictures! Glad you had a fun visit. I also knocked off the corners of my permanent front teeth when I was little ... not fun!
